Driven Dynamic Creative

Hey, welcome to my little corner of the internet!

I’m a Junior DevOps Engineer passionate about infrastructure, automation, and all things that keep systems running smoothly. I genuinely enjoy the problem-solving side of this field; whether it’s untangling a tricky configuration, exploring a new tool, or thinking through how systems fit together at a larger scale. This site is a bit of everything; a portfolio, a digital CV, and a place where I document my journey through the ever-evolving world of IT. The Blog is where I share thoughts on technical challenges I run into, ideas I find interesting, and sometimes bigger questions around ethics and privacy in tech. I think those conversations matter, and I enjoy putting my perspective out there. The Docs section is my personal knowledge base. A collection of notes, hard-to-find solutions, and specific bits of information I wanted to keep somewhere accessible. It’s primarily meant for myself, but if you stumble across something useful, that’s a win for both of us. The Guides section takes things a step further, with more detailed walkthroughs on setting up tools and systems I’ve worked with. Think of it as the Docs section, but with more context and hand-holding. If you want to know more about me, my work, or just get in touch, the contacts section has everything you need. I’m always open to a good conversation, whether it’s about a project, a technical topic, or just exchanging ideas.

Quick heads up, the rest of this page is essentially my pitch to potential employers. If that’s not what you’re here for, the rest of the site has plenty to explore!

Make yourself at home, and I hope you find something worth your time here!

Here are a few personal projects I’ve worked on. Some are finished, some are still a work in progress, that’s just how it goes. They cover a range of topics, from infrastructure, automation, networking and security to more experimental ideas.

Certifications have been an important part of my learning journey, helping me structure and validate knowledge across a range of fields. They have also been a great way to complement my academic background, covering areas that formal education doesn’t always go into enough depth on. Although I do not think certifications hold much value in and of themselves, I believe they can be a reflection of the mindset with which I approach IT and technology more broadly. Continuous improvement is something I care deeply about, and if a certificate happens to come out of it, that’s a bonus.

The timeline below covers the full picture.

Certified Linux Systems Administrator (LFCS)

Linux Foundation

The LFCS, or Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator, validates practical skills in Linux system administration, covering everything from file system management and networking to user administration and service configuration. Unlike many certifications, it is entirely performance-based, meaning it is assessed through real tasks on a live system rather than multiple choice questions. A solid proof of hands-on Linux proficiency.

Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

Linux Foundation

The CKA, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator, is a performance-based certification that validates the ability to deploy, manage and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters in a real environment. Like the LFCS, it is entirely hands-on, carried out on a live cluster under time pressure. It is one of the most respected credentials in the container orchestration space, and one I am currently working towards.

TOEIC

TOEIC

The TOEIC, or Test of English for International Communication, measures practical English proficiency in a professional context. A score of 945 out of 990 places me at a C1 level I believe. Working comfortably in English can only be benefeciary in this field and it's even more valuable when aiming for global markets.

Comptia Security+

Comptia

CompTIA Security+ is a vendor-neutral certification covering the core concepts of cybersecurity, from threat detection and risk management to cryptography and network security. It provides a broad but solid foundation across the key domains of the field, making it one of the most recognized entry-level security credentials out there. A natural complement to the networking knowledge built through the CCNA track.

Cisco CCNA2

Cisco

CCNA 2, or Switching, Routing and Wireless Essentials, builds on the foundations of CCNA 1 and goes deeper into how networks are actually structured and managed. It covers VLANs, inter-VLAN routing, STP, and wireless networking among other things. Where CCNA 1 explains the concepts, CCNA 2 starts getting into the practical side of building and managing a network.

Cisco CCNA1

Cisco

The CCNA 1, or Introduction to Networks, covers the foundational concepts of networking, from how data travels across a network to the basics of IP addressing, routing and switching. It is the entry point into the Cisco networking curriculum and builds the core knowledge that everything else sits on top of. A solid starting block for anyone serious about networking.

This section lists the tools and technologies I have worked with across various personal projects and professional experiences. Rather than a simple inventory, each of these represents time spent tinkering, building and sometimes breaking things in the process of learning. Many of them are topics I have written or plan to write about in the blog, where I go into more detail about how I use them and what I have learned along the way. The list is not exhaustive, and it keeps growing. Consider it a snapshot of where I am at right now.

In a field where everyone has a CV, finding a way to stand out is not always straightforward. Building this website felt like a more honest and personal way to present who I am and what I can do, beyond a PDF that looks like everyone else's. It's a living space that reflects both my technical skills and the way I think, and a perfect home for my personal blog.
